Biography

Héroe de Besilu is sired by Vivaldi de Besilu. Vivaldi is truly a magnificent stallion. Vivaldi made history in 2020 when he won for the 5th time consecutively Grand National Champion Fino Stallion (breaking the record 4 times consecutively by the great Capuchino 30 years earlier). Vivaldi’s wins don’t end there, The list is endless. He is 2021 Grand World Champion Fino Stallion, 2017 World Champion Fino Stallion – Colombia, 2019 3rd World Champion Fino Stallion – Puerto Rico, He is Two time Spectrum International Grand Champion, 2020 Spectrum International Hall of Fame Stallion, he is the first Paso Fino to be nominated as USEF Horse of the Year and more. In 2022, Vivaldi has also been immortalized as a Breyer Model Horse.

Héroe is out of Ponderosa Joya de Chapala. She is sired by one of the most sought after internationally recognized breeding stallions, Dulce Sueño de Lusitania. Dulce Sueño has been awarded in Colombia the prestigious title of “Jefe de la Raza” (Sire of Sires) continuously and appeared on the PFHA’s Top Ten Sires list. Her dam Ponderosa Majagua de Chapala is sired by World Champion Fino Stallion Tormento de La Virginia FC. Tormento has been on the PFHA’s Top 10 Sire’s list 9 times and of those times he was ranked number one in 2014, 2015 and 2017. Ponderosa also has other notable horses in her lineage going further back such as Patrimonio del Ocho, Cortezano de La Vitrina, Castellano, Capitan de La Vitrina and more.
