Sortilegio is son of Dali, who has repeatedly appeared on the Paso Fino Horse Association’s Top Ten Sires list. Dali is a son of one of the most sought after internationally recognized breeding stallions, Dulce Sueño de Lusitania. Dulce Sueño has been awarded in Colombia the prestigious title of “Jefe de la Raza” (Sire of Sires) continuously from 2010 through 2019 and appeared on the PFHA’s Top Ten Sires list for 2017 through 2019.

The dam of Sortilegio is Sota de Copas, a spectacular black multi-Grand National Champion performance mare with so much power and style in her movement that instantly attracts the eyes on onlookers. She is a daughter of the great Fino Mutli World Champion Stallion Tormento de La Virginia. Tormento has also been on the Paso Fino Horse Association’s Top 10 Sire’s list 8 times and of those times he was ranked number one in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
