Biography

Vivaldi de Besilu is one of the most exciting stallion prospects at the modern Paso Fino era. An incredibly good looking individual and an awesome temperament allied to his ability makes Vivaldi the dream horse. He is following the footsteps of his sire Bribon de San Isidro which was Champion and still competes at the top level with more than 14 years of age showing how good he is. Bribon, a top producer of Classic Fino offspring, has been on the PFHA’s Top 10 Sires list 7 consecutive years 2012-2018. Vivaldi can be considered the modern version of his sire and is going to be a popular stallion among breeders in years to come.

Another point of interest is his dam’s sire Mandato de La Luisa which was a top producer and appeared on the PFHA’s Top 10 Sire’s list in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012; sire of well known Patrimonio del Ocho. Also worth mentioning on the sire’s side is the importance of Amadeus de Resorte Cuarto, which is one of the most influential breeding stallions from Colombia with more than 1900 offspring. He had been named Fuera de Concurso, Campeon de Campeones, Mejor Jefe de Raza and Mejor Caballo del Ano (for five consecutive years) in Colombia, as well as Top 10 Sire for PFHA for many years.

As he was maturing from a 4 to a 5 year old, Vivaldi developed a powerful body. So far in the show ring, after many Championships and the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Grand National Championships, 2017 XIII Mundial 1st Place Paso Fino Stallion in Bogota, Colombia, one highlight of his career was competing against his own sire Bribon de San Isidro at the Ocala Summer Festival and winning the Grand Champion title.
