The dam of La Joya de Besilu is Fortuna de Besilu. With having multiple Grand National Champion wins in Classic Fino she has proven herself in the show ring as a force to be reckoned with and she comes from excellent breeding. Her dam was an elegant Classic Fino mare, and she was sired by National Champion 4 year old Fino Colt, Maraquero deVitral LaRosa, who has appeared on the Top 10 Sire’s List for five consecutive years. Maraquero is the son of Vitral, and three time world champion, Maraquita la Rosa. Maraquita was a crowd favorite, and she was known for her extremely rapid footfall in the Fino gait.
